Food Bank Boxes Made by Students and Food Drive

Friday 14th December 2018

This year, students from Lasswade are collecting donations for families in the local community who may require food parcels.

This is teaching students to be responsible citizens and also helping to develop their organisation and collaboration skills.

As part of this process, a team of students will be collecting donations that students assemble.

As a cross-curricular project, a few Art classes and Registration classes have been working on repurposing boxes with a festive theme to add a little sparkle to the donations.

Well done to everyone for this community-spirited project.
