Outdoor Learners News

Wednesday 5th December 2018

Lasswade High School’s Outdoor Learning Group are pictured here enjoying some excellent events.

Canoeing at Musselburgh Lagoons with Mr Fallon and Mr Welsh proved particularly popular, with the students getting a lot out of the experience.

Elsewhere, students worked with the Midlothian Rangers Service to improve access to Gore Glen Country Park.

They were helping to finish off some steps and at the same time learning to use tools in real life contexts.  This work is contributing towards their John Muir Discover Award which will be completed by the end of this session.
