Lasswade High School has a link with Edinburgh Castle as a business partner through the Midlothian Confucius hub. Each year Mandarin learners at the school get the chance to work on a project to use their Mandarin skills in a course connected to the castle.
As part of their ongoing Community Project, the Columba 1400 students have been participating in a wide variety of in-school activities that illustrate their creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills.
From the 12th until the 16th of November, Lasswade High School will focus on a positive, anti-bullying message, asking students to think about how they behave towards others and remind them to RESPECT their fellow students.
Next week at Lasswade High School it is officially Book Week, as part of the National Book Week Scotland celebrations. This festival of all things books and reading will run from Monday 19 – Sunday 25 November.
