P7 Transition Programme
Our P7 Transition Programme opened on Tuesday 9th June on Google Classroom. Over 90% of our new S1 cohort actively engaged in the programme, which is highly impressive.
Although our 4 day P7 Transition Programme officially ended on Friday 12th June, it will not be removed from the P7 Transition Google Classroom. This means that students can continue to access the materials at their leisure and revisit any of the 3 sections (My Lasswade, My Learning, My Support) as required.
Parent/Carer P7 Transition Evaluation
We would appreciate it if you could spare some time to complete this short parent/carer evaluation about this year’s P7 Transition Programme. At Lasswade, we value all parent/carer feedback as it helps us to constantly improve and make sure that we support all of our students and families.
In addition, P7 students have been asked to complete a short student evaluation about their P7 Transition experience. The student evaluation can be found on the My Support section of the P7 Transition Programme and we would encourage all students to complete the evaluation ASAP.
Frequently Asked Questions
P7 students got to meet their S6 Buddies during the Transition Programme. The S6 Buddies answered all of the P7 questions and queries that were sent to us by Primary Schools.
The videos can be found on the My Support section of the P7 Transition Programme. We have also attached a PDF version of the questions and answers.
*Please note: There is a temporary suspension of current school uniform expectations to allow frequent opportunities for families to wash school clothes.
We will continue to share updates with you.
Student Support Contact
Our Student Support teams (Melville, Mount Esk, St Leonard’s and St Anne’s) have now made contact with all families to introduce themselves and also answer any of your queries. Student Support have enjoyed making contact with families and we hope you have found our communication useful.
There will be no further contact by Student Support this term, so please get in touch with us using our dedicated email address, if you have any further questions or queries: firstname.lastname@example.org
Well done P7!
We are extremely proud of all P7 students. Their enthusiasm, transition work, creativity, communication and effort have all been outstanding and recognised by our staff. It has also been fantastic seeing so many students interact with each other on our Google Classroom.
We would like to thank all families, Primary Schools, staff and partners who helped make our 2020 P7 Transition such a huge success.Tweet  Share on Facebook
