Parent Council Meeting

Monday 10th September 2018

The first Parent Council Meeting of the session was held in the school on Tuesday 4th September.  At this well attended meeting our Chair, Lindsey McGregor, welcomed all attending with an emphasis on those parents of our new S1.  The agenda included a staff and student presentation on the school’s involvement with Human Utopia, a session on establishing the Parent Council’s aims for the year as well as a presentation by the Head Teacher on the SQA results achieved by our students in 2018.

Also present were our six School Captains who will attend all meetings to represent the student perspective, as well as Mrs Yule our new DHT with a community aspect to her remit.  The meeting included plenty of opportunities for staff, students and parents to engage in productive dialogue.

Our next Parent Council Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 3rd October with a 7.00pm start.  All welcome.

Further information on the Parent Council, including dates for the session, previous minutes etc are available via the Community section of our website, follow the link to the Parent Council page.
