Thank You Sixth Year

Friday 26th April 2019

Today our S6 completed their last school day before they begin Study Leave.  Well done to our outstanding School Captains who planned a ‘primary school sports day’ experience out on the grass pitches.  A truly memorable and colorful experience with the weather holding.

Following a S6 dance at ‘playtime’ our Atrium area was cleared for our S6 Graduation.  Mr Chisholm and Mr Hornell offered their DREAM related thoughts, reflections and advice to the S6.  This was warmly received and culminated in our SLT, and some brave S6, reprising their Lip Sync ‘performance’.

As part of the Graduation we finished with the inaugural presentation of our ‘DREAM Ambassador Awards’ to many of our S6 students.  This rewards excellence against our DREAM Rubric that has been shown by students in their S^ classes throughout the school year.

Pizzas and water (and a few balloons) provided a lovely conclusion to what we hope has been a memorable day for S6.

Best wishes, be great and Reach for the Stars.
