Covid-19 Update 23/03/20

Monday 23rd March 2020

The following update is provided on the areas we are working in.  Tonight, two of our areas with a note on communication.

In a rapidly changing context Midlothian Council’s arrangements for Key Worker Hubs have now changed.  We will now welcome P6 and P7 students tomorrow along with primary staff as part of the service we are providing.  Young people from S1 to S3 will also attend.  A reminder to parent/carers that they should ensure their children have an adequate supply of food to keep them going!  We cannot be certain there will be catering arrangements.  Our Hub opens at 9.00am with a 3.30pm close.

In terms of our SQA work and in line with SQA guidance, some coursework may be progressed via Google Classroom. Students should check the relevant ‘classrooms’, via GLOW, to ensure that any work that can be completed is made a priority.

In terms of communication we are aiming to ‘man’ our school office phone from 8.30am to 10.30am each day.  At other times please leave a message or email us using the contact details at the bottom of our homepage.
