Burns Supper

Friday 26th January 2018

Our annual Burns Supper for S6 and staff was held in school on Thursday 25th January.  A night of excellent food, company and entertainment was enjoyed by the 100 plus attendees.  Particular thanks to the Burns Supper Committee who organised this annual event.

Murray and Louise welcomed all with the haggis piped in and Selkirk Grace from Mr Mitchell.  Matt and Rebecca shared with us some of Burn’s finest work followed by an excellent traditional meal, all washed down by Scotland’s National Drink, Irn Bru.

Mr Hornell delivered the Immortal Memory with the Head Boy and Head Girl, Daniel and Teigan delivering the Toast to the Lassies and  Laddies.

Our Ceilidh Band then guided us through some traditional Scottish Country dancing.

The evening culminated with a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
