This week saw the launch of our Interhouse Programme with Dodgeball in the main Games Hall at lunchtime. House Captains along with staff put on a terrific lunchtime programme this week with sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Caitlyn and Reeca, two of our House Captains, reported that Dodgeball was a good activity to start with because it built on work from previous sessions and is an easy, inclusive and fun activity for students to get involved in.
The students recruited participants through visiting classes, the Bulletin and posters around the school building. This proved a success as healthy numbers were involved on each day
House Head of St Leonards, Mrs Main stated, ‘A great start to the Interhouse programme. My thanks to the House Captains and staff for putting on a great three days. My only disappointment was that it wasn’t a SL clean sweep. The other House Heads should be starting to worry. SL are on a roll.’
