International Partnerships

Lasswade High School aims, as a priority to support a range of opportunities to develop and embed an international perspective and learning into our curriculum. In practice this means we believe teaching and learning is improved by delivering international activities across the whole school. This way internationalism becomes part of our school culture with students encouraged to consider contexts for learning beyond local or national boundaries.

International education enriches teaching and learning. It introduces teachers to new practices and perspectives, furthering their professional development and raising teaching standards. It gives our students a window into different cultures and countries, helping them develop as responsible global citizens and preparing them for life and work in a global society.
