Message from the Head Teacher

Wednesday 7th February 2018

It has recently been brought to my attention that some motorists are inconsiderately parking in close proximity to the school, blocking driveways, on footpaths and parking on bends.  Not only does this result in unnecessary disruption for some local residents, it can cause traffic problems as parents drop off/collect their child from school, breaching parking regulations.  Inconsiderate parking causes obstructions and makes it impossible to cross the road safely.  Visibility is greatly reduced, making it really dangerous for your child and also for other pedestrians.  I would urge you to actively promote walking to school or to park in a safe area, without causing obstruction, and walk a short distance to the school.
