Monday 1st June 2020
From Monday 1st June, our Student Support team will be making phone calls to all P7 families to introduce themselves and offer support.
Student Support & House Identity
During these calls, P7 students will find out which Lasswade school house they will be in, their house colour and which Student Support teacher they will have. Our 4 houses and their associated colours are:
Melville (ME) – blue
Mount Esk (MK) – yellow
St Annes (SA) – red
St Leonards (SL) – green
Student Support will also direct families to our dedicated P7 Transition email address (email@example.com) so that families can have their queries answered by a member of our Transition Core Team.
S1 Class Lists
S1 class lists will be shared with students and families in August, when we have a clearer view of what our school timetable will look like. We will keep all families updated as developments occur.
P7 Transition Programme
Our P7 Transition Programme begins on Tuesday 9th June and will be running until Friday 12th June. It is very important that all new S1 students join our P7 Transition Google Classroom by logging onto Google Classroom via GLOW as soon as possible. Our ‘How To’ video and user guides are available on our website: http://lasswadehsc.mgfl.net/whole-school/p7-transition-pack/
Weekly information is being released on social media and our school website in the form of ‘Transition Tuesdays’. Our ‘Transition Tuesdays’ aim to help all P7 students and families with the move from primary to secondary school.
