Scottish/Chinese Education Event in Perth

Wednesday 14th November 2018

A number of Lasswade High students were involved in a Scottish Chinese Education Network [SCEN] event in Perth recently.
This annual event aims to bring together good practise in both the learning and teaching of the Mandarin language.
During the event, students gave presentations and performances.
A group of our S1 students performed a traditional dance using fans.
Three of our Senior students – Lewis Hanley, Chloe Lauder and Mia Holins-Kirk – were recognised as Cultural Ambassadors because of their commitment to promoting the Mandarin Language.

Extraordinary Parent Forum Meeting

At our Parent Council Meeting last night, with ‘Budget’ as the main item we agreed the need for an additional Parent Council/Forum Meeting on Monday 25th February.  This meeting will begin at 7.00pm in the Assembly Hall.  All parent/carers are invited.
