SPOTY 2018 Confirmed

Congratulations to Zak Stewart, S3, who was last night confirmed as our Sports Personality of the Year 2018.  Zak came through a process with around 1200 votes cast in a close run ballot.   Zak is a talented and dedicated basketball player who represents the school, City of Edinburgh Basketball Club and is part of the Scotland representative group.   He proved to be a popular winner.

Congratulations also to Jodi Millar, Lauren Windsor and Hannah Darling who also nominated for our main award.

On the evening, across a range of sports, awards were presented to a range of students and staff/volunteers including a number of Payer of the Year, Team of the Year, Future Starz, Volunteer and Coach of the Year awards.

The evening was supported by our Parent Council and Vets 4 Pets,  and expertly hosted by Martyn Ewart from Forth One.  Our VIP Sports guest were Mark Bennett, Anna Vincenti, Ross Callachan and Murray Buchan.
