Tree of Knowledge

Thursday 8th February 2018

Following on from their prelims and just before their subject choice interviews S5 students have been working with Tree of Knowledge staff.  Each S5 House group worked with a Tree of Knowledge presenter, Tony McNicoll,  for three periods on either Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

Why take S5 out of class for this?   The next 12 to 18 months are a period of significant choices and changes for S5 as they

The session with Tony allowed S5 students to consider the perspective from which they view things; the aim being to think differently and see situations as opportunities and to seize them.

Each session proved successful with students engaged in a range of activities designed to support; increased confidence,  improved self-awareness, increased motivation and effort, as well as providing a degree of focus as S5 complete this year and prepare for S6.

Feedback from those involved has been very positive.
