HT Update Feedback: 10/11/25

Response to feedback submitted from HT Update week ending 07/11/25.  To be completely accurate it came in late on Monday 3rd November in response to the post at the end of October.  I’d already posted the response but forgotten to close off the accepting response option.

My Question | Comment | Suggestion related to the school this week is:	HT’s Response
I appreciate that the school are trying to work with Midlothian council regarding the closure of the ToneZone for its refurbishment. This is deeply frustrating for children who are going to be affected by this. Is there any way they can be transported to another Tone zone facility for their classes? Surely Midlothian should be offering this as some sort of accommodation.	This is an interesting suggestion but would have implications for the other classes students have.  Generally one period backs onto another so any travel time can have an affect on other classes. The sensible solution for the school would have been to schedule the refurbishment in the summer term.  That was rejected and we move on. By the end of last week we had a ‘solution’ in place.
