| Why don’t we have an app for the school? Websites are outdated nowadays and an app would provide access to information quickly with notifications to a phone/ipad. Could also be used instead of texts for lateness and absence so provide a cost saving. | We used to have an app. The main problem was, and we think would still be, that we could not ‘reach’ all families through it as it relies on all families to sign-up. It was decided through the Parent Council to upgrade our website. We can reach all families through it via Groupcall messages either to email or text (all families must provide at least one of these contacts). |
| Is the next PC meeting online? I thought we were doing the agm f2f but no worries it is winter so online suits me. | Well spotted, and apologies. I’ve made a mistake on Friday’s HT Update. It should have read in-person. We’ll consult on the remaining ones. I’ll correct my original post and will make clear this week it’s in-person. |
