| Please can uniform rules be tightened up so that it is not permissible for children simply to wear their normal clothes on top of say a shirt and tie. It seems to defeat the purpose if the uniform can just be covered up by wearing, for example, a black Nike hoodie. | Thank you, we spend a lot of time through our Student Support Team and our Senior staff working with students and their families to secure uniform compliance. For example, uniform checks, handing out items to wear, phone calls home. It’s tricky to ‘catch’ everyone and most students do comply.
Come along to our Parent Council next week. It’s a topic we need to revisit. |
