School Show: Congratulations to all students and staff who’ve been involved over recent months in the rehearsals and preparation for our school show, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This week the sold out show performed to a rapturous audience. Just shy of 150 students were involved onstage and supporting as backstage and/or technical. All of these students have been supported by staff across our Performing Arts Team. Bravo!
Midlothian Schools Dance Competition: Congratulations to the 57 LHS dancers who competed in the Midlothian Schools Dance Competition last week at Newbattle CHS. The students choreographed their own dances and did themselves, and the school proud, performing in front of students from all other Midlothian schools. It was a brilliant day with our dancers supporting each other and dancers from other schools. We were very successful and came away with awards in all categories. We also managed to win the award for the school with the highest total combined score. Special mention to the following students who placed in each category.
