P7/S1 Family Learning Bulletin: November 2020 Edition

Wednesday 18th November 2020

We hope you enjoyed the Literacy and Numeracy activities in our first edition of the P7/S1 Family Learning Bulletin last month. As you know, the bulletin aims to develop our ‘learning at home culture’ by using tried and tested approaches that help families work more confidently at home.

November Edition

Health: Take part in a community scavenger hunt! Click on the check list picture below to follow the instructions on the bulletin and begin your search for specific items, take photos and upload them to an App.

Cookery: Identify traditional Christmas foods, search for items and prices in the supermarket and make Christmas Truffles. Click on the picture of the Christmas Truffles below for the ‘Cooking Together’ tasks, instructions and recipe.

Extra Challenges: There are also extra challenges within the Health and Cookery sections of the bulletin. Give the activities a go in your own time, at your own pace and have fun.

December Edition
Next month’s edition will feature Literacy and Health activities. The December bulletin will be emailed to you rather than sent via post. Please let us know if you would prefer to receive the bulletin by post by emailing: Lasswade_HS@midlothian.gov.uk
