Parentsportal.scot Launch

Lasswade High School has piloted the first phase of the roll out of the parentsportal.scot online service to Midlothian Schools.  This online service will allow you to communicate directly with our school at a time convenient to you.  Find out more here.

Moving forward this will be where you will access Student Reports,  report absences and complete the Annual Data Check online.  You can use parentsportal.scot to:

• Report a student’s absence
• View future Student Reports
• Complete the Annual Data Check
• View Attendance
• View Class Timetable
• Link to Parent Pay to make school payments
• Create a link to your child’s information
• Update Contact Details throughout the year

Parentsportal – Help

To sign up and link to your child’s record on parentsportal.scot, the information you provide must match what we hold on our school system.  Points to note:

• Parentsportal asks for first and middle names of students however for the majority of our students we only hold first name on their file, this may cause a matching error.
• You will receive a notification on Parentsportal when your account has been linked by the school.
• If any of your contact details, including address, have changed recently, please get in touch with the school via email lasswadehsoffice@midlothian.education prior to registering on the portal.  When notifying the school of change of address you must provide proof of residency, details are below on acceptable documents.
  • Acceptable Proof of Residency
    • Council Tax letter – Current tax year
    • Child Benefit letter
    • Gas, electric or telephone landline bill – within the last 3 months
    • Full valid UK driving licence
    • Tenancy Agreement, which must be signed and dated by tenant/s and landlord (accepted 4 weeks before entry date)
    • Scottish Government Benefit letter
    • MOD Assignment Order and March-In date letter
  • Not accepted as Proof of Residency
    • Solicitors’ letters
    • Concluded Missives
    • Plot reservation letters/documents
    • Court Letters
    • Witness Citation’s
