Friday 5th March 2021
On Tuesday 16th February the main parent/guardian school contact for all Senior Phase students were emailed with information regarding how their son/daughter can take up the offer of at-home Covid-19 testing. Today we have emailed all Senior Phase parent/guardians with updated information. A similar update has been placed in S4, S5 and S6 Year Group Google Classrooms.
As you will be aware asymptomatic testing was aimed at those students coming into school to complete essential practical work related to their coursework. From Monday 15th March all Senior Phase students will be invited into school on a part-time basis up until the Easter break. Therefore, from Monday 15th March all Senior Phase students become eligible to take part in the asymptomatic testing programme.
We are strongly recommending that all students take up this offer. Staff who are in-school will also be offered this opportunity. Their uptake this week has been very positive.
Please watch the two short videos below on how to test and the thoughts of staff and students on the process.

Student ‘How To’ Video
Subject to the school receiving the appropriate consent form, details in the email and Google Classroom posts, Senior Phase students can collect their at-home kits at the following times from the school reception area.
Those students unable to collect their kits at the above times will be able to do so from Monday 15th March.
