Covid-19 Update

Friday 10th September 2021

Please find below a link to a letter for all parents and carers explaining the changes in contact tracing for children and young people. We hope that this is useful and helps with some of the confusion and queries that you may have. Please note the letter is signed by Dona Milne, Director of Public Health.  The letter is being shared by all Midlothian schools.

The process for Test and Protect is increasingly automated. Schools  are considered a low risk setting. Therefore, parents and schools should not expect phone calls from Test and Protect unless there are exceptional circumstances identified.  All schools will continue to work to this and wider national guidelines on Covid-19 related matters.
