Covid-19 Update

Sunday 27th March 2022

After the Easter Break all schools will move to a new phase of ‘living with’ and mitigating against Covid-19.  Over the course of the next two weeks we will communicate with our students and parents/carers to explain what this will mean for our school.  Some of the changes are significant, including the ending of LFD testing.

The following letter from Professor Jason Leitch aims to explain the reasons for decisions taken by the Scottish Government.  In addition, it helps to clarify how this impacts on children and young people, and emphasises the importance the government are placing on retaining a sensible set of  routine protective measures.  For example, face coverings will still be required in communal areas and when moving around the building.  Please access the letter via the link below

Face Coverings – Update

The legal requirement to wear a face covering in most indoor places has now been replaced with general safety guidance encouraging people to wear face masks in busy/crowded places.
