Dress Down Day – Friday 28th February

On Friday 28th February, there will be a dress down day in support of the British Heart Foundation and the theme is ‘Go Red for Feb’.  The charities supported are identified by the school community at the beginning of each school year to ensure we are fundraising for causes important to those at Lasswade.

In the UK, someone dies from a heart or circulatory condition every three minutes. Whether it’s losing a loved one to sudden cardiac arrest or coping with the devastating impact of heart failure, far too many of us will have felt the heartbreak that heart conditions can cause – including young people at our school. But together, this Heart Month, we can give more hearts a fighting chance.

Please show your support this Friday by wearing something red and if you would like to donate either bring in cash for the collection at the front door or donate via Parent Pay. Thank you!
