First Minister’s Statement 23/02/21

Wednesday 24th February 2021

Yesterday in Parliament the First Minister outlined some indicative dates for the next phase in the return to in-school learning for students.  All of the following is dependent on public health data and further progress in suppressing the virus and with the vaccination programme.  In terms of the secondary sector the following is significant

However, the April 5th date will allow schools to potentially offer an in-school Easter programme.  We will work with our students to see if there is a demand for this and thereafter with staff in-school.

As is often the case at this stage precise detail is scarce.  When it emerges we will keep our school community updated.
