Ongoing Disasters Emergency Committee Fundraising

Thursday 17th March 2022

We are extremely grateful to all who have donated to our ongoing appeal for Ukrainian refugees. Last week we collected hundreds of items and over £1,700 to go to those affected by the current situation in Ukraine.

We are going to continue our efforts over the next few weeks by holding a non-uniform day each Friday until the Easter holidays. If pupils wish to continue to wear blue and yellow to show their continued support then this is welcomed. We are politely asking for any financial donations rather than items as our donation centre are currently at capacity. All monetary donations collected will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee which launches appeals when large-scale crises or disasters hit countries without the capacity to respond. Their current appeal is helping to provide food, water, shelter and medical assistance to those affected by war in Ukraine and refugees in neighbouring countries. Please give if you can.
