Skills Development Scotland and Developing the Young Workforce Information Evening: 10/06/26

Please note this event will be held on Wednesday 10th June.  The evening as been developed in partnership with our Parent Council.  It is aimed at parent/carers.  It begins at 6.30pm and will be an on-line event held via Teams.  The session aims to inform parents/carers on

• The work of SDS, our careers service,  in Lasswade
• How the service works and what they can help with
• Pathways SDS helps young people to explore
• Information on the ‘destinations’ of Lasswade Leavers
• Local Labour Market Intelligence
• The role of DYW and what they do in Lasswade
• How parents/carers can support careers conversations
• How folks can engage with the services

Please keep an eye on the Parent Council Facebook Page.  On the morning of Wednesday 10th June all Parents/carers will be sent the Teams link via email.
