Exam Timetable

As you may be aware, SQA have made some late changes to dates for this year’s exam diet.  With these changes, there has been an extension to the Exceptional Circumstances Consideration Service to accommodate families who can prove that they have a holiday booked on an exam date.  Over the next few weeks we will work on producing individualised timetables for all senior students, but we would encourage students and parents to notify us if they believe the cannot attend an exam because of a pre-planned holiday.

Please be aware that, as in previous years, we will adjust exam timings within a 30 minute window to best suit the school, aiming to minimise disruption and to ensure students who get a school bus can do so. We will publish our full exam timetable in the next few weeks.

Study Leave

Study leave will run from Monday 28th April – Friday 30th May (inclusive). Students will return to school on Monday 2nd June. Students who have exams on either Thursday 24th or Friday 25th April will be permitted one day of study immediately ahead of their exam.

Exam Support

Over the next few weeks additional details will be published by SQA about the Appeals process and Your Exams, a student friendly guide to exams, will also be released online. In addition we will share supports for study available in school, and online to ensure all students have access to resources for revision.

If students have queries or questions about their exams, they should speak with Ms Struthers in Rm 112. If the query relates more to their assessment arrangements then they should speak with Mr Hunter in Creative Learning.
