Earth Hour on March 30th

Thursday 28th March 2019

On the 30th of March, Earth Hour takes place across the world.

The event started in 2007 as a way of inspiring people to take more interest in the welfare of the planet.

Well-known monuments such as the Sydney Opera House, the Empire State Building and Edinburgh Castle switch off their lights for a time to show their support.
