Police Scotland

Friday 17th April 2020

Midlothian Council have asked us to share this request from Police Scotland.

Police Scotland are undertaking a survey tracking public confidence levels and experience of approaches to policing the lock-down. The survey will also capture people’s feeling of safety and any concerns they have which Police Scotland can address operationally and through information campaigns.

The survey will also capture feedback from those who have contacted Police Scotland during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings are being reported to Op Talla on a weekly basis.  I believe Op Talla is the coordinating group within Police Scotland working on Covid-19.

This survey recently captured over 11,000 responses from the public and partners and questions have been refreshed to include COVID-19 related questions to measure Police Scotland’s engagement with communities and emerging issues with service provision. It will be a continuous survey to support local policing and provide a tool for partnership engagement.
