Removal of Registration

Tuesday 28th May 2019

From Friday 31st May 2019 we are removing the 10 minute daily Registration period from the student week.  This means that students won’t be allocated a Registration Class, but will have a House Class instead. This will ensure that students are allocated a member of Student Support staff, as before. For current students in S3 and the Senior Phase there may be some changes to their new House Class in comparison to their old Registration Class.  However, please be reassured that maintaining consistency with their Student Support teacher will be prioritised wherever moves are necessary.  The House Class students are allocated will be clearly visible on their new timetable.

In addition, there are a few practical matters to bring to your attention that are impacted upon by the removal of registration. These are as follows:
