New School Day Timings

With effect from Friday 31st May 2019 the school day will end 10 minutes earlier.  This follows from our budget consultation around the removal of Registration and subsequent consultation around the timings of the school day.  On that over 200 parental responses were gathered with over 90% supporting the staff recommendation of maintaining the 8.30am start each day.  Student focus groups were less clear cut but most did support this option too.

Therefore, our new school day will be structured as follows:

Monday – Thursday		Friday
Period 1	8:30 – 9:20am	Period 1	8:30 – 9:20am
Period 2	9:20 – 10:10am	Period 2	9:20 – 10:10am
Interval	10:10 – 10:25am	Interval	10:10 – 10:25am
Period 3	10:25 – 11:15am	Period 3	10:25 – 11:15am
Period 4	11:15 – 12:05pm	Period 4	11:15 – 12:05pm
Period 5	12:05 – 12:55pm
Lunch	12:55 – 1:40pm
Period 6	1:40 – 2:30pm
Period 7	2:30 – 3:20pm
