Update – School to Reopen Tomorrow

Tuesday 9th January 2024

Throughout the course of this morning work has been ongoing to repair the mechanical fault with our heating system. We are pleased to report that, whilst the repair is not currently resolved, we believe we are on track to have these completed by this evening. 

Lasswade High School, and the adjoining nursery, will therefore be open to all students from tomorrow morning, Wednesday 10th January.

However, it may take some time to get the temperature and hot water in the school fully back to normal.

Students are therefore advised to dress appropriately and wear additional layers to assist their comfort. We will have hand sanitiser available in all classrooms, to supplement handwashing, but students may also wish to bring their own.

We thank you for your patience with this, and we look forward to seeing all of our students tomorrow.
