The school has four ‘long days’ each with seven classes/periods and one ‘short’ day, a Friday with four classes/periods.  Due to the Midlothian’s alignment of the secondary school day our school day changes from Monday 3rd June 2024.   Classes, from this date, begin at 8.40am every day and on ‘long days’ ends at 3.25pm.  On Friday school ends for students at 12.15pm.

As we have no Registration period at the beginning of the school day it is important that each student attends school on time ready for classes to begin at 8.40am.

Please note there is a Broad General Education School Day and a Senior Phase School Day with separate breaks and lunches on Monday through Thursday.  On Friday our break is combined for all.
