Working at Lasswade

With a teaching and non-teaching staff of around 150, recruitment is a regular feature of our work.  If you love learning and have a passion and drive to support the learning of others Lasswade High School would love to hear from you.

The most important resource in our work to secure school improvement and support our students to achieve and attain is our staff.  The school has high expectations around the commitment of our staff and we view three things as particularly significant in nurturing our workforce

  • Recruiting and retaining good people
  • Working with our staff to make them better
  • Enabling our staff to do things that work.

Our current vacancies are advertised through ‘myjobscotland’ and sit within the Midlothian Council section of that site.  Follow the link below to take you there

If there are no Lasswade High School vacancies currently available and you think you can support our school don’t hesitate to send your CV into the school office.  Mark it for the attention of the Head Teacher.  Excellent people make excellent schools and if you have something to offer we may be able to find you a role.

The video clip below is designed to give you a flavour of what it’s like to work and live in Midlothian.  Much of the video was filmed in our school and many of the students and staff featured are our students.
