As part of the Midlothian Provision, Lasswade High School works in partnership with all Midlothian Secondary Schools, Edinburgh College and Queen Margaret University to extend the provision of Higher, Advanced Higher and vocational courses which we offer our students.

Students travel predominantly on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon to venues across the local authority which enables us to meet specific needs of individual students who wish to study courses which are not available in Lasswade High School.

In practice, given the size of the school, we are able to offer a huge range of school based courses.  However, there are specialist courses that either require facilities or staff knowledge that we cannot accommodate.  Our students benefit from these opportunities.

The Midlothian Provision also means that we welcome on an annual basis students from other secondary schools, particularly for the range of Advanced Higher courses we are able to offer.
